The First Kalimah Tayyibah (The Purest Words)

Laa-ilaa-ha illal-laa-hu Muḥammadur Rasoo-lullāh.

 There is no god besides Allāh;

Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allāh.

It goes without saying that this is the ‘Kalimah of Islām’. It is the core of ʾĪmān. Belief in it is what establishes a person as a muʾmin (believer) and a Muslim. It saves the believer from eternal doom in the Hell Fire.
